Traditional quilt blocks in fresh new fabrics makes Avalon an exciting quilt. The Lady of the Lake traditional quilt blocks are made of half-square triangles in two colours. The three borders include a beautiful scallop border that is stitched by hand using needle turn applique. If you prefer, you can use your favourite machine applique stitch or omit the scallop border altogether.
The detailed step-by-step instructions include the template for the scallop border. All of our patterns include a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Fabric quantities are in both metres and yards.
